It was the opportunity for Verteego, represented by Mr. Daniel KAUFMAN, Future City Project R&D Manager, not only to present the company and its solutions regarding sustainable development issues but also to expose Verteego’s solutions to steer city and neighbourhood social, economic and environmental performance. It was all the more relevant as China is actively seeking solutions to implement new sustainable city models in order to handle the troubling situation linked to current China’s damaging and fast-growing urbanisation process: currently the urban population of the country accounts for 54% of the Chinese population, and the urbanisation rate is expecting to reach 60% in 2018.

For indexinstance the Chinese cities of Wuhan, Chengdu and Shenyang are currently looking for innovative solutions to restructure more sustainably as part of their future sustainable city projects, in which Verteego is looking at playing a role.

Verteego’s take on this meeting:  It was a valuable and rare opportunity to meet Chinese Senior Officials dedicated to Ecological and Environmental Protection. We are looking forward to future partnership with the provinces represented: Hubei, Hebei, Shandong, Liaoning, Shanxi, Jianxi, Henan, Hunan, Sichuan and Gansu.
