At Verteego, we always say that the World is our playground. And when we have the opportunity to do something to preserve our playground, we go for it!
Sustainable development, web 2.0 & outdoor… what better combination?
That’s the way Laneo seeks to contribute to changing the world. By using social networking and the web to gather people that share the same values, this organization founded in 2007 by Andrew Paterson aims at offering a fun, casual and collaborative way to put sustainable projects into action.
Laneo Camps give participants all over the world the chance to work together to create the structure of these eco-outdoor gatherings and workshops, but also to help preserving the outdoors. The camps are designed for anyone who enjoys nature and wants to get involved: ordinary people, but also companies involved in outdoor industries or environmental preservation and protection organizations.
Next Laneo Camp meeting will take place in Paris this Sunday. Participants, speakers and companies will share their ideas, experiences and environmental good practices at Le Chalet des Iles, Bois de Boulogne. Anyone can participate, & it’s free! You are most encourage to come if available.
