Between October 2nd and October 6th of 2016 in São Paulo, Verteego had the chance to attend Low Carbon Business Action Brazil on Solid Waste in Management, a selective program financed by the European Union.
Low Carbon Business Action Brazil is a series of gatherings on environmental sustainability topics, targeted at making Brazilian and European SMEs do business together.
This edition of Low Carbon Business Action (LCBA) Brazil was focused on solid waste management, a critical issue for the Brazilian Society, and definitely an area in which Europe has a global lead. It was an occasion for Verteego to present applications of its predictive analytics technology to the management of solid waste all along their lifecycle.
Low Carbon Business Action Brazil involves general market overviews, one pitch of each present company by their representatives, at least four B-to-B meetings everyday, a visit of a local company, social events, and a presence at the LCBA booth during a trade show, which happened to be FIMAI (where Verteego had exhibited back in 2013).
Low Carbon Business Action Brazil was the occasion for Verteego to meet with executives from small and medium enterprises based in Brazil on in EU countries and engage concrete business discussions with future partners and clients.
We would like to take this opportunity to respectfully and gratefully thank the very professional and reactive LCBA team in Brazil for the amazing job they’re doing, as well as the EU for providing this useful project with adequate funding despite the current economic turmoil on the continent. We are also looking forward to pursuing all the business discussions that originated on LCBA Brazil on solid waste management.
