The consulting firm in green building and energy efficiency synAIRgis is involved in the Green-House without Borders project launched by the Labour without Borders foundation of Montreal. This project consists in a three stores sustainable building that will apply for a Gold LEED® certification. The minister of employment and solidarity and and minister of labour in Quebec, Sam Hamad heralded on January 19th, 2010 a governmental grant for this construction. The Labour without Borders foundation is a non-profit organization that assists and helps disadvantaged people. Yearly, the foudation facilitates the social and professional integration of more than 500 people, mainly young adults. Its new building will also shelter the synAIRgis premises.
The Green-House without Borders, which will be built in the heart of Montreal for the Labour without Borders foundation, gives priority to green and energy efficient materials. In this regard, SynAIRgis will leverage its expertise of the Verteego application to consider different sustainable building scenarios to optimize its carbon emissions and energy consumptions. The monitoring process will start from the construction start and continue during its operating cycle.
